Marcelo Pena Costa is an NYC-based independent creative director. He’s worked for brands and agencies like Fallon London, Isobar, Y&R, Fiat, Nivea, Unilever, Greenpeace, Red Bull, Guinness, Google and many others. In 2012 he founded creative collective Señores, which has received recognition at Ad Age’s Small Agency Award, Google Creative Sandbox, and Tomorrow Awards. He's also co-founded Brainstorm Shop, a creativity workshop he ran for about five years in conjunction with Miami Ad School São Paulo. An art director by trade, trained at London College of Communication, and Universidade de Brasília, with more than 15 years of experience, Marcelo has recently made a debut in filmmaking having directed a music video for Grammy-award nominee band Alagoas. He's lived in Brazil (São Paulo and Brasília), London, and currently, lives in Williamsburg with his wife and has a 19-year-old daughter, who happens to be an aspiring filmmaker.
